Igor Levitin, the transport minister of Russian Federation, proposed to introduce an unified ticket for all transports in Europe. While the Europeans think, the Yaroslavl locals do! In May an integrated transport card is going to be introdused. It...

by Evgeny Pavlov I would like to present another idea which — sure! — connected with Yaroslavl. How much did you see Yaroslavl videos? Or have you ever seen them? Now it is possible, because it is absolutely fresh video project: every day I make no more than 10 seconds clip and each week you can see one compilation! The first week was from March 18th until March 24th. By the way, you can see...

Dancing Shoes is an exciting indie music band from...
by Evgeny Pavlov It is very easy to write about a music band when a singer sings Russian songs. Everything is differently when a band performing in English is being reviewed. But I am going to try doing it, because this group is amazing. It is this kind of group when the birth could be only possible by chance. For instance, there was a very funny story of joining the band by Kseniya...

A play-off permission for the Railmen!
by Djikaru There were almost 89 minutes of the game and only 3 dropped pucks last Sunday. In a hard and long game the “Lokomotiv” hockey team won a pass to the next stage of the play-off. “Atlant” (a team from Podmoscovye) went on holiday. The game was equal and principled — as the fans wanted to see. On the eve of Sunday the score in Head-to-Head games was 2:1 in...

Yaroslavl Front Door #5: Sverdlova Street, 9
by Джикару General information We are in front of the building known for most of Yaroslavl citizens as Ars-Cinema. The cinema rested in peace in 1994 and now there are “Ars-Forum” and Yaroslavl Chamber Theatre there. However, the original mission of the building was far from arts. It was built in 1913 as House Of Mutual Help For Private Official Labour. The meaning of the title is rather...

Architecture of Movement's parks
Parks, parks and parks. There are lots of parks in Yaroslavl which are very green and beautiful either in summer and winter. You can just talk a walk or run in a circle. Three times during this September — 6th, 13th and 27th — there were great performances directly in parks. Dancing,...

As all events of September, this one was also provided by Architecture of Movement.     The name of the quite amazing performance was “Jazz na Svobode” (either Free Jazz and Jazz at Large, a Russian pun). The main idea was to play jazz on the balcony and in the same time passersby can’t see an orchestra. They only...

The simple translation of the word is empty. Nonetheless it is a famous street video festival in Russia. Some people try to show some shot (or not) videos for other some people.
